This story was originally written by the famous Irish author, Oscar Wilde, the creator of many of todays literary classics. Its first publication was in May 1888, 125 years ago, in a book entitled "The Happy Prince and Other Stories".

The text for the story was adapted by Pastora Faval, along with the wonderful illustrations of Bernardita Jarpa, and the music of Martin Benavides, making this version of Happy Prince ideal for those of whom reading is not enough, but also enjoy living a story.
